All new tests and treatments for cancer are reliant on discovery research like ours.
But there has been a drop in global funding for discovery research, and we have to turn down brilliant ideas every single year, because we simply cannot fund them all. We are losing potential cures. But your support will help turn the tide.

Should I let you know about my fundraising event?
Please let us know what you’re planning so we can provide you with support, advice and any materials you may need. But don’t worry if your event has already happened – we have guidance on how to submit the funds raised here.
What Worldwide Cancer Research materials can I get for my fundraising event?
From poster templates to planners, balloons to banners, we've got lots of resources and materials to help you with your fundraising efforts before, during, and after your event. We also have lots of Curestarter goodies available like t-shirts, stickers and pens - get in touch with our Events Team at [email protected] to find out what’s available.
How can I promote my fundraising event?
The more you shout about your event, the more successful it will be. Spread the word on social media (and tag us!) and use our poster templates to advertise on noticeboards. Tell your local newspaper or radio station, so they can help promote to the community. You can make it easier for people to find out more about your fundraising event - and donate at the same time - by setting up an online fundraising page.
How can I pay in the money raised?
If you've raised money on JustGiving or another online platform like Facebook, you don't need to do anything! All of the online donations made will be automatically transferred to Worldwide Cancer Research.
If you've raised money offline, the simplest way to pay is by donating the total raised using our online donation tool. You can use credit or debit card to pay this in.
